Help us transform our sanctuary at Dilworth Baptist into a warm, welcoming space ready to receive every sojourner who walks through our doors.
To build a home for the sojourner, we want our physical space to reflect the hospitality and peace of Christ. We are undertaking a $20,000 cosmetic renovation of our main gathering space at Dilworth Baptist Church.
Our historic 45×60ft sanctuary has served this neighborhood faithfully. Now we want to transform it into a place where the exhausted can find rest, where the wandering can find roots — and where every person who walks in feels, before a word is spoken, that they belong here.
Thanks to our church partners who have already sent teams and recommendations, we have a clear, costed plan to make this vision a reality.
Every dollar funds a specific element of this transformation. See exactly what your gift covers below.
Removing old partitions, repairing the ceiling, and executing a professional spray-paint of the entire room in a bright, clean white — a blank canvas for everything that follows.
Installing 24 ultra-slim commercial-grade LED panel lights for clean, even illumination across the sanctuary, plus upgrading our electrical infrastructure to support the full vision.
Expanding the stage with high-traffic contemporary gray carpet, a textured acoustic panel feature wall, warm indirect LED lighting, and elevated staging that sets the room's tone.
More renderings coming soon as plans are finalized
If you feel led to give toward something specific, here is what we need. Every item is a seed planted in this space.
Beyond the renovation, we are equipping the room for Sunday gatherings. From microphones and cameras to nursery supplies and display screens — if you would like to give something tangible, our wish list has options at every level.
We are looking for kingdom builders to help us raise $20,000 to fully fund this transformation. Whether you can sponsor a square foot of carpet, a new LED light, or partner with us for a larger portion — your generosity sets the table for the exhausted and the wandering.

That Manna House would be a true home for sojourners in this neighborhood — that every person who walks through these doors would encounter the peace of Christ.
That the Lord would provide generously for every phase of this renovation — and that every dollar raised would be a seed of faith in the ministry ahead.
That the Lord of the Harvest would send laborers — specifically those with hearts for our neighbors, for the displaced, and for the restless seeking rest.
